Description
This is a tool you to decock and remove the firing pin assembly out of the bolt body. This is for all BAT actions with a bayonet style shroud. It is very helpful when checking firing pin fall with the bolt out of the action or when you accidentally have the cocking piece fall down the cocking ramp.
Thread in style shrouds (Discontinued in the early 2000’s) require the thread in style firing pin removal tool.
There are specific tools for various models to ensure the best fit.
These are printed form a chemical resistant material.
Variations in color, surface finish and fit are expected for the initial batch. Note for initial batch, Small Lug and Big lug versions are tight on pre 2015 Shrouds.
Small Lug, for small lug actions: SV, DS, B, VR, TR, HAMMERHEAD, IGNITER, VESPER-S, BUMBLEBEE, & VAMPIRE
Big Lug for big lug actions: MST, M, CT, L, HR, IGNITER-LA, VESPER-M, & VESPER
3 Lug for 3L and 3LL actions with a tapered round shroud
Neuvo for Neuvo & 3L actions with a straight round shroud or with flats machined on the sides of the shroud
XL for XL actions
EX & EXS for EX & EXS actions
